Anyway, as you can see the post's title Vocal Range has nothing to do with my loneliness although I just wanted to state it -tear tear- but if you don't know or I didn't tell you, I sing. Not in like choir or any specialty classes but like freely singing to horrible karaoke covers of Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera or Celine Dion but since they're vocal ranges are a bit too high for me I decided to stick to my KPOP idols! Which are girls generation's Taeyeon and Ailee ( Amy Lee ) but since Tae doesn't seem to sing anymore I just started idolizing Ailee.
A video where it shows Ailee's vocal ranges in Immortal Song 2 is where I try singing the lyrics in that same tone and range (here) its from a G3-B5. Well so when I adapted the lyrics a bit I sang along with her and since my voice is loud and I was singing this at like.. 8:00pm I figured it'd be really loud- since last summer I was karaoking by myself on the third floor (I live in a three floor apartment) and when I came downstairs my sister was like, "oh we heard you singing from outside, we were trying to request songs." I was soooo embarrassed because I never knew I can be that loud .. so later on I have been trying to keep it low but try to make me reach the high notes- it doesn't work and it's really not good for you, so recently I just sang my heart out but I'm still uncomfortable so I don't really... sing as loud unless I'm in the shower.
Back to my singing with the video- it was pretty fun trying to compare my voice and her's through the video but some notes I couldn't hit was the .. F5 I think. But when I first sang a few of the songs I could only hit C5 and D5 now I can hit the E5 and go as low as .. I guess D3
I'm not really sure if you can see this :( but my vocal range is yes D3-E5 - Improvement 101! I can also falsetto to B5 and I'm working on my whistles!

Interesting, taught me quite a bit about how to improve my voice! Thanks. :)
